Job description

Position Mission

The Producer is a key creative and operational leader within FOCUS Studios, responsible for producing high-quality video content in support of departmental initiatives and sub-brand storytelling. This role owns projects from concept through delivery, translating stakeholder needs into compelling, on-brand video content that advances organizational goals.

The Producer serves as the primary point of contact for assigned departments and sub-brands, guiding them through the production process while collaborating closely with the Director of Video & Media Production on creative strategy, prioritization, and production standards. This role partners with studio staff, freelancers, and cross-functional FOCUS stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at a high level of excellence.

This position is ideal for a strong communicator and creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about mission-driven storytelling.

Position Responsibilities

Creative Production & Content Development

Own end-to-end production of departmental and sub-brand video projects, from pre-production through post-production and delivery.

Translate stakeholder objectives into clear creative briefs, production plans, and timelines.

Collaborate with the Director of Video & Media Production to align projects with broader Studios strategy and creative standards.

Ensure all content aligns with FOCUS brand guidelines, messaging priorities, and audience goals.

Production Execution

Oversee shoots in studio and on location, ensuring creative vision and production quality are maintained.

Work with Studio Manager and technical staff to plan and execute studio productions.

Supervise post-production workflows, including editing, revisions, and final delivery.

Project & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the point of contact between Studios and assigned departments or sub-brands.

Manage expectations, scope, and timelines while maintaining strong working relationships.

Coordinate internal resources, studio staff, and external contractors to execute productions effectively.

Anticipate challenges and proactively resolve creative, logistical, or production issues.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Partner with Project Management and Production Coordination to ensure smooth workflows and resource planning.

Contribute to the development of scalable production processes and best practices within Studios.

Support major organizational events and initiatives, including attendance and production support at SEEK.

Cultivate Divine Intimacy:

  • Personal prayer and/or daily Mass, when possible
  • Avail yourself of other spiritual opportunities 
  • Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, and maintain a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people outside of FOCUS
  • Live out the moral life in Christ
  • A practicing Catholic or Christian in good standing with the Catholic Church.  There is no other background, qualification, or experience that can substitute for this requirement

Qualifications

A deep commitment to the Catholic faith and enthusiasm for advancing the mission of FOCUS.

Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

3-6+ years of experience producing video content, preferably in film production or agency environment.

Strong project management and communication skills.

Experience working with creative teams, freelancers, and stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

Willingness to travel and support major events, including SEEK.

Compensation & Benefits

For this role, we anticipate paying $85,000 - $105,000/year.  This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.
