Job Title: Universal Banker

Department: Retail Banking

Reports to: Banking Center Manager

Job Status: Full Time

Purpose of Position

The Universal Banker will work directly with our customers to meet their needs and support all products and services in our retail and commercial lines of businessย whileย projecting a professional and welcoming image with maintaining operational control when delivering amazing service to customers

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing accurate andย high-qualityย customer service in all aspects of conducting financial transactions for customers, including cashing checks, accepting deposits, selling monetary instruments, and maintaining account records.
  • Balancing daily transactions, verifying cash totals; is constantly aware of and monitors all account transactions for suspicious activity and assists in balancing.
  • Customer service and problem solving in all aspects of teller operationsย needed.
  • Responsibleย for selling a full range of retail deposit products and banking services to customers and prospective customers.
  • Maintains a portfolio of existing customers for cross selling of bank services.
  • Follows all Bank policies, procedures and compliance regulations.

Preferred Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Bank experience preferred.
  • Must have at least six months to one year cash handling experience.
  • Additionally, usually 2 years of sales or service experience.
