Senior Universal Banker

We are seeking a motivated and service-driven Senior Universal Banker to provide exceptional member experiences, strengthen member relationships, and support daily branch operations. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted financial resource, help drive branch performance, mentor team members, while ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
What We're Looking For
A positive, experienced banker who is passionate about helping members achieve their financial goals, leading by example, and contributing to a high-performing branch team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and deepen member relationships through needs-based conversations, product recommendations, and referrals.
  • Process member transactions accurately, including deposits, payments, withdrawals, and account servicing.
  • Resolve member concerns professionally and efficiently while delivering outstanding service.
  • Promote digital and self-service banking solutions and educate members on available tools.
  • Open and close accounts, process and close consumer and home equity loans.
  • Support daily branch operations, cash management, balancing, and operational controls.
  • Assist with branch supervision, scheduling, coaching, and staff development.
  • Train and mentor team members to uphold service, sales, and operational standards.
  • Meet or exceed branch sales and service goals.
  • Maintain compliance with all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of banking or financial institution experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Ability to become fully Universal Banker certified.
  • Strong relationship-building, member service, and sales skills.
  • Knowledge of banking operations, products, services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and management.

The final position level and title will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications; candidates may be considered for a higher or lower-level role within the department. Senior Universal Banker applicants may begin employment as a Universal Banker or Member Specialist, depending on skills and experience.
The pay range for the Senior Universal Banker position is $26.00 to $29.00 per hour and is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
