Part-Time Volleyball Coach
Gorin Sports Academy | Tukwila/Bellevue, WA
Are you passionate about volleyball and excited to help young athletes grow both on and off the court? Gorin Sports Academy is seeking a Part-Time Volleyball Coach to support our expanding volleyball program at our brand-new Tukwila facility, opening early 2026 (targeting February).
This role is ideal for a coach who enjoys hands-on instruction, flexibility, and being part of a collaborative coaching team, with strong opportunities for growth as the program develops.
Projected Start Date
Early 2026 (Target: April)
Hiring now to prepare for program launch
Note: Even though our Tukwila facility is now open, volleyball programming will continue to be based primarily in Bellevue through May 2026, with a gradual transition to Tukwila as the facility becomes fully operational.
Role Overview
This is a part-time, flexible coaching position designed to support our Head Volleyball Coach. You will assist during team tournaments and step in to independently run clinics and mini group sessions when the Head Coach is traveling with teams. The coach may also be pulled in to assist with additional clinics as program needs arise.
As our Tukwila facility opens and the volleyball program continues to grow, this role offers significant opportunities for increased hours and responsibility. Coaches will have the opportunity to lead additional clinics, take on a larger instructional role, or step into a team coaching position as the program expands.
What You'll Do
• Assist the Head Volleyball Coach during team practices, tournaments, and events
• Travel locally with teams when needed
• Lead volleyball clinics and mini group sessions independently when the Head Coach is at tournaments
• Occasionally assist with or lead additional clinics based on program needs
• Coach athletes of varying skill levels, from beginners to intermediate and advanced players
• Run engaging drills focused on fundamentals, skill development, and game play
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Provide constructive feedback to build confidence, discipline, and teamwork
• Support daily operations including equipment setup, breakdown, and court logistics
What We're Looking For
Passion for volleyball and youth development
Prior coaching experience or high-level playing background required
Ability to confidently lead clinics and small groups independently
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Reliable, energetic, and adaptable coaching presence
Availability for evenings and weekends
Flexibility to cover clinics and practices when the Head Coach is at tournaments
Why Join Gorin Sports?
Be part of a respected and growing multi-sport academy
Work in a professional, supportive, and development-focused environment
Gain hands-on experience within a structured volleyball program
Opportunities for increased hours through clinics, camps, and seasonal programming
Clear potential for expanded responsibilities and leadership roles as the program grows
Compensation
$25+/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Additional paid opportunities available for clinics, camps, and special events
Location
Gorin Sports - Tukwila, WA
Primary programming will be based in Bellevue through May 2026, even after the Tukwila facility opens, with a phased transition to Tukwila.
Indoor, multi-sport facility with year-round programming
