Learn. Teach. Repeat. Be the Team. Deliver Excellence. We are looking for a Teen Aide for Kids Klub sites located in Woonsocket, North Smithfield, North Providence, and Lincoln.





A typical day for a School Age Teen Aide will include:

  • Working as a team to provide a safe, healthy, structured, welcoming space.
  • Supporting students’ social, emotional, cognitive, academic development, promoting physical health, and providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • Inspiring children to be lifelong learners.
  • Helping students with homework and school projects.
  • Partnering with school faculty and staff to provide a safe and educational learning environment.
  • Showcasing your tech savvy skills by using an electronic daily tracking app.
  • Assisting with the accreditation process as well as other quality initiatives.
  • Playing games and having fun!


A Teen Aide will always be accompanied by a staff member and will never be left alone with children.

This is a part time position, during after school hours (typically 2:30 / 3:00 – 5:30).


Our programs are open Monday – Friday before school (typically 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.) and after school (typically 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.), schedules vary per program. We also offer full day programs during school vacations, summer break, and when school is not in session.


Requirements:

Looking for experience after school? Join our team as a Teen Aide. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with children, preferably in a child care center.


We are looking for someone who has the following skills:

  • A personal demeanor that is warm and friendly.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Team-oriented and willing to work with others.



Qualifications

  • 16-18 years of age, must be actively enrolled in and attending high school.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English, bilingual encouraged to apply.
  • Must pass national criminal background/fingerprints check.
  • Must pass Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) Clearance Request (CPS).
  • Able to engage in physical exercise with children (walking, running, crawling, bending, twisting).
  • Visual and hearing acuity.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
