We’re looking for a part-time financial professional who can own our day-to-day finances with precision and independence.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for managing the organization’s financial operations. You’ll oversee everything from bookkeeping and payroll to reporting and compliance—ensuring our financial systems run smoothly and leadership has the insights needed to make decisions.

Core Financial Operations

  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online
  • Record all transactions, journal entries, and fund allocations
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements
  • Track restricted and unrestricted funds

Banking & Reconciliation

  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Monitor cash flow and flag any issues proactively
  • Resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately

Payroll & Compliance

  • Process payroll
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure tax compliance
  • Prepare W-2s and 1099s
  • Support compliance with nonprofit financial standards

Reporting & Close

  • Manage monthly close process
  • Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Provide regular reports to leadership
  • Support budget tracking and variance reporting

Audit & Grants

  • Prepare documentation for annual audit in collaboration with leadership
  • Track grant expenditures and reporting requirements
  • Maintain strong internal controls
