Dental Assistant II (Pediatric Dental Assistant)

Full-Time amp; Part-Time Opportunities Available

$22–$26/hour (based on experience)

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Dental Assistant II who enjoys working with children and is passionate about delivering great patient care. In this role, you’ll help create positive, stress-free dental visits while supporting a busy, team-oriented practice.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist the dentist during pediatric procedures
  • Take and process dental X-rays
  • Support coronal polishing and nitrous oxide procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments following safety standards
  • Educate patients and families on oral care
  • Keep accurate patient records (Open Dental preferred)
  • Pitch in with front office tasks when needed

What You Bring

  • CDA or EFDA certification
  • 2+ years of dental assisting experience
  • Pediatric experience (preferred)
  • Coronal polishing amp; nitrous oxide certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures, HIPAA, and infection control
