Job Summary

Sts Joachim and Ann Catholic Church is seeking a compassionate and organized Part-Time School Nurse to support the health and well-being of students and staff. This role provides basic health services, promotes wellness, and supports a safe school environment in alignment with the parish’s mission.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide basic first aid and care for student illnesses and injuries

  • Administer medications in accordance with school policies

  • Maintain student health records and ensure confidentiality

  • Monitor and manage chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, allergies)

  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns

  • Promote health education and wellness within the school

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

  • Coordinate with staff and outside providers as needed

  • Maintain a clean, organized health office

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri

  • Prior nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or school settings

  • Knowledge of basic health care practices and emergency response

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity

  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

  • Willingness to support a faith-based school environment
