Your ability to process bets with precision, verify tickets, monitor odds, and pay out winnings helps ensure every transaction is handled with both speed and integrity. With a strong understanding of probability, point spreads, money lines, and sports wagering rules, you provide guests with confidence and clarity throughout their experience. Through friendly communication, regulatory compliance, and a commitment to exceptional service, you help create an engaging, trustworthy atmosphere that reflects the energy and excitement of the Live! brand.


Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Accepts bets and parlay cards and writes tickets on all sporting events from customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Receives sport or parlay tickets from customers and pays customers who present winning tickets and vouchers.
  • Maintains and balances a till for use in issuing and redeeming tickets and vouchers.
  • Maintain a neat and well-stocked window for the next shift.
  • Responsible for processing transactions accurately and maintaining accurate reconciliations.
  • Must be aware of all Title 31 procedures and logging.
  • Must know all terms and conditions pertaining to sports wagering.
  • Must be fully aware of all lines and odds in the Sports Book.
  • Remain alert to any peculiar betting patterns and report such events to the Sports Book Supervisor.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls of the state gaming agency.
  • Promotes superior guest service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

  • Effective and friendly communication.
  • Prior sports and sports betting knowledge.
  • General understanding of financial information, data, and basic arithmetic functions.
  • Able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must Haves:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education
  • 1-2 years experience in high volume cash operations.
  • Prior sports and sports betting knowledge is preferred.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
  • Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. 

Physical Requirements:

  • 24/7 operation requiring extended hours and the ability and willingness meet the applicant’s schedules when needed. 
  • Casino is over 100,000 square feet and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.
  • Use of going up and down 31 stairs multiple times per day and elevators

Working Conditions:

  • 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
  • Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
  • You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
