Job description

SVP, Product – Core Customer Experiences & Flywheel Products

New York City Product

THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

FanDuel is America's #1 sports betting company and a market leader across sportsbook, casino, and daily fantasy. This role sits at the center of the company's product organization and the systems you own touch every single FanDuel customer, every day for more than 4.8M Average Monthly Players (AMP; FY2025). You'll have the opportunity to shape the trust, safety, and financial backbone of one of the fastest-growing consumer companies in the country.

FanDuel is looking for an SVP of Product to lead the centralized customer journeys that underpin every experience across our portfolio — sportsbook, casino, racing, and beyond. This leader will own the foundational, cross-cutting product surfaces that every FanDuel customer touches: how they create and manage their account, fund and move money through their wallet, trust the accuracy of their ledger, engage with our loyalty programs, are reached through martech, and are protected through responsible gaming tools. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this SVP, Product will also be a key member of the Technology Leadership Team.
This is a horizontal, platform-level leadership role. Rather than owning a single vertical or product line, this SVP is accountable for the shared infrastructure and experiences that make every FanDuel product feel safe, seamless, personalized, and trustworthy . With operational complexi ty across several product offerings across numerous U.S. states and Canadian provinces, there is significant opportunity to be a driving force in FanDuel’s continued growth at scale .

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Account, Wallet, Ledger, Responsible Gaming, MarTech, and Loyalty Enablement, ensuring these core journeys are best-in-class, compliant, and built to scale across all FanDuel verticals.
  • Deliver product strategy for customer facing products including Fantasy, Horse Racing, and Retail locations
  • Set the strategy for centralized customer infrastructure, balancing the needs of multiple product lines (sportsbook, iGaming, racing, and future products) against a single, coherent customer experience.
  • Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary product organization of about 70-80 colleagues, including product management, and in close partnership with engineering, design, data science, compliance, and legal leaders.
  • Champion Responsible Gaming as a product discipline, embedding tools and safeguards (deposit limits, self-exclusion, cool-off periods, affordability checks) directly into core flows rather than treating them as bolt-ons while meeting evolving state and international regulatory requirements.
  • Modernize wallet and ledger systems to support real-time payments, multiple funding methods, promotional credits, and accurate, auditable financial record-keeping at scale.
  • Drive account experience strategy, including onboarding, KYC/identity verification, authentication, and account recovery, optimizing both conversion and regulatory rigor.
  • Own loyalty enablement as a platform capability, building the underlying rewards, tiers, and personalization infrastructure that product teams across FanDuel can leverage.
  • Partner with Marketing and Data teams on MarTech strategy, ensuring the right infrastructure exists for personalization, CRM, notifications, and lifecycle marketing across the customer base.
  • Partner cross-functionally with vertical product leaders (Sportsbook, iGaming, Racing) as key stakeholders/customers of these centralized journeys, ensuring the roadmap serves their needs without fragmenting the core experience.
  • Report to executive leadership and the board as needed on the health, performance, and risk posture of these core systems.
  • Represent FanDuel with regulators, payment partners, and industry bodies on matters related to responsible gaming, account integrity, and financial product experience.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • At least 12+ years of product management experience, with at least 5+ years in senior product leadership (VP or SVP level) overseeing large, complex product organizations.
  • Proven experience owning platform or shared-services product areas (e.g., account, identity, payments/wallet, ledger, trust & safety, loyalty, or CRM/martech) — ideally within a regulated, high-growth consumer environment.
  • Experience in online gaming, sports betting, fintech, e-commerce, or another highly regulated consumer marketplace is strongly preferred.
  • Deep familiarity with trust & safety product or responsible gaming principles, and comfort operating in a highly regulated, multi-jurisdictional environment.
  • Track record of building and scaling payments, wallet, or ledger systems with a high bar for accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Experience partnering with loyalty, lifecycle marketing, and CRM/martech teams to drive retention and engagement through personalization.
  • Strong technical fluency — able to partner deeply with engineering on architecture decisions for high-scale, high-availability, financially sensitive systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across a matrixed organization, balancing centralized platform priorities with the needs of multiple product verticals.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills, with experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders.
  • A people-first leadership style, with experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing product teams.
