Job description

Delivery Driver Assistant

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 6:00 AM - approximately 2:00 PM (and as needed/route finished)

This is seasonal position working now - approximately September 4, 2026

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ride in the cab of our truck with a Delivery Driver to assist with loading and unloading products. Responsible for stocking and merchandising various products ensuring that all beverage sections, racks, and displays are filled, POS neat, clean and current and displays maintained according to Coastal Beverage Company's standards.

Responsible for regular and punctual attendance to ensure product is delivered timely to CBC customers.

This is a field-based role requiring consistent presence in customer accounts throughout the day during designated standard business hours to ensure customer satisfaction.

All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

1. Possess and display Coastal Beverage Company's Core Values at all times:

2. Possess education equivalent to a high school diploma.

3. Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.

4. Possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

5. Possess basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Possess the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

6. Possess ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

7. Possess computer skills requiring knowledge of e-mail software, and Internet.

8. Possess the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Employees must frequently sit, stand, walk, climb, lift kegs up to 160 pounds and cases up to 46 pounds, push and pull exerting forces up to 65 pounds (hand truck), and talk.

Occasionally (<34% of workday)

Employees must occasionally balance, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist of trunk, lift one-handed, reach below knee, reach knee to shoulder, reach above shoulder accessing items 72 inches high, finger and pinch.
