Industrial Administrative Assistant
PSC Group is hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong computer skills, responsible for processing paperwork for all rail traffic and other administrative tasks. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (4 hours a day, not to exceed 20 hours in a work week)
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to site employees and leadership
• Manage incoming communications including phone calls, visitors, and mail
• Coordinate meetings, including scheduling rooms, ordering supplies, preparing materials, and arranging visitor access
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems
• Assist with expense tracking, receipt collection, and report preparation
• Order office supplies and support general administrative and operational needs
• Troubleshoot basic office equipment issues and support Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Support travel arrangements, errands, and other administrative tasks as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
• Track assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and support changing site priorities
• Maintain a safe, organized, and team-oriented work environment in alignment with company standards
• Complete additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines on a consistent basis
• Maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism
• May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
• Speak, write, read fluent English
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
