Job description

Guthrie Medical Group is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Ophthalmologist to join a high-volume clinic serving the beautiful community of Sayre, Pennsylvania. This is a well-established group consisting of 10 other Ophthalmologists covering a wide range of specialties including retina, glaucoma, oculoplastic, cornea, ocular pathology, pediatric cataract and general specialties. The clinic is attached to Robert Packer Hospital, and as such you will have access to a strong referral base, a dedicated support team, state-of-the-art operating rooms and all diagnostics lab services.   • Full-time position with Monday to Friday schedule
  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
  • Strong support and referral network in place
  • Compensation is between $380,000 and $420,000 per year
  • Sign-on bonus is available

Along with providing a full range of diagnostic, medical and surgical services across multiple specialties, it features a Regional Level I Trauma Center, a Cancer Center, a Cardiac and Vascular Center, is accredited by the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation, and is served by Guthrie Air, a regional aeromedical helicopter program.
