We transform complex environmental regulations into actionable strategies that protect our planet while supporting Apple's operational excellence across all global facilities...We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly motivated professional to join our team as a Program Lead, Global Waste Compliance, to build and lead comprehensive waste compliance programs that ensure regulatory excellence across Apple's worldwide operations.
As a Program Lead, Global Waste Compliance, you will develop and implement global waste compliance strategies, build innovative compliance tools and systems, and ensure Apple maintains the highest standards of environmental regulatory compliance across all facilities. You will work closely with regional teams, facility managers, and environmental partners to create scalable solutions that drive consistent compliance practices while supporting Apple's environmental goals.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related field. Five or more years of experience building and leading environmental compliance programs. Demonstrated experience developing compliance tools and tracking systems. Knowledge of international waste regulations and compliance requirements. Strong project management experience with proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Law, or related field. Seven or more years of experience in environmental compliance, with focus on waste management. Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new technology and complex workflows. Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to translate technical requirements for diverse audiences. Experience working and communicating with all levels of an organization. Proven success managing compliance programs across multiple countries or regions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities. Extremely proactive, responsive, and upbeat with strong organizational skills. Experience with environmental management systems and compliance software platforms.Professional certifications in environmental compliance or waste management.
