The World Wide Channel Strategy and Operations (CSO) Team provides operational support to our Channel Branded Programs through Preservation, Technology, Installation and Supply expertise.
Description
We're looking for a Manager, WW CSO Preservation. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring Apple's branded fixtures across a large global network of reseller locations are maintained to Apple's high standards to ensure the best customer experience. Success requires the ability to directly manage Apple employees, lead through subordinate managers, and represent and collaborate as part of a larger, cross-functional team. Additionally, you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively interact with and influence all levels within the organization - including executive leadership - navigating sensitive situations with diplomacy and without damage to key relationships.","responsibilities":"Lead and develop a global team of Operations Managers across multiple functional areas, establishing objectives, delegating work plans, and exercising full supervision over cost, methods, and staffing - while coaching and growing talent at all levels.
Own the worldwide operational budget, including creation, reporting, and adjustment, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and performance requirements to drive fiscal accountability.
Establish and enforce global standards, policies, and best practices to maintain brand integrity, quality control, and compliance across all international channel locations - championing sustainable preservation practices that extend fixture lifecycle and align with Apple's environmental commitments.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Install, Demand Planning, Procurement, Programs, IS&T, and Security to integrate operational strategies and achieve cohesive business outcomes.
Engage regularly with senior and executive leadership across multiple divisions and geographies, influencing strategic direction, securing buy-in, and representing the WW Preservation team with clarity and authority.
Leverage AI, data analytics, and advanced reporting tools to modernize operational workflows, surface real-time quality signals, and drive smarter, faster decision-making across the global network.
Synthesize global insights and quality data from geo partners across all regions to identify trends, prioritize systemic fixes, and continuously improve worldwide operational standards.
Define requirements for internal tooling enhancements, focusing on maximizing data capture, accelerating repair workflows, and maintaining data integrity at scale.
Lead change management for global operational initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new tools, processes, and standards across geo teams, vendors, and field partners.
Contribute to future fixture and merchandising planning, ensuring designs align with Apple's brand guidelines and enhance the in-channel customer experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5-10 years of Retail or equivalent management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Proven ability to manage multiple departments through subordinate managers, with full ownership of cost, staffing, and performance
5+ years in fixture development including cross-functional reviews and global deployment milestones
Strong retail operations and finance background
Prior experience in an international role
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role
Self-starter with innovation, integrity, and strong attention to detail
Excellent communication, planning, and analytical skills with a deep understanding of the Apple brand
Track record of engaging and influencing at senior and executive levels across global, cross-functional organizations
Experience leading change management for large-scale global initiatives
Experience leveraging data analytics, AI, or BI tools to drive operational improvements and quality outcomes
Proficiency in Mac OS, iOS, Word, Excel, and Keynote
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Some travel required ~10%
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $186,200 and $280,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
