Job description

UP TO $125 PER VISIT | SET SCHEDULE | COMPANY VEHICLE PROVIDED FOR PATIENT VISITS

Cooperative Home Care is hiring a Part-Time RN Visit Nurse to work with all of our lines of business, but primarily Home Health. Most of our patients are dependent on the care they receive from our RNs and caregivers, so we hire the most compassionate and thoughtful talent in the field.

This is a great opportunity for an RN looking for consistent, part-time work with a predictable schedule. Part-time Visit Nurses will have set scheduled workdays with no rotating schedule, allowing you to know your schedule in advance.ย The position includes the use of a company vehicle for patient visits, as well as the support of a positive company culture. Nurses will report to our office at the beginning and end of each scheduled workday to pick up and return the company vehicle.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patientsโ€™ conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
  • Observe and interpret patientsโ€™ symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other members of the care team to devise individualized care plans for patients.
  • Perform routine procedures, including blood pressure measurements, injections, and other skilled nursing services.
  • Complete accurate and timely patient documentation and charts.
  • Administer medications and provide treatments according to physician orders.
  • Maintain excellent hygiene and safety standards.
  • Provide appropriate medical care and intervention in emergency situations.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to LPNs and nursing assistants as needed.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
  • Expand knowledge and capabilities through educational opportunities, workshops, conferences, and other professional development.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Valid Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Proven experience as a Registered Nurse; 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Home Health experience preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsible, compassionate, and patient-focused.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the Cooperative Home Care office to pick up and return the company vehicle.
