Position Overview: Part-Time RN in Cardiac Telemetry

In the role of a Part-Time RN specializing in Cardiac Telemetry, your input in patient care is not only appreciated but also actively encouraged. Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the patient's condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
  • Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient's response, and take appropriate actions in case of any adverse reactions.
  • Deliver exceptional care by responding swiftly to patient requests, anticipating their needs, and addressing them proactively.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terms.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within one year of starting employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (RN) is required.
  • Possession of an Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
