  • Schedule: Full Time Schedule: 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off. More details upon interview. 
  • Requirement: Previous remote camp experience a plus! 
  • Pay Range: $21.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour.
  • Additional Job Duties: 
  • Work in a small remote Alaska camp where you’ll play a vital role by preparing fresh, home-style meals and maintaining clean, comfortable living spaces for camp residents.
  • Prepare and serve freshly cooked meals for a small group of residents while managing kitchen operations, food safety, inventory, and meal planning.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, restrooms, and common areas to provide a comfortable home-away-from-home for residents.
  • Work a 4-weeks-on/4-weeks-off rotation in a remote Alaska camp. The point of hire is Anchorage, Alaska, and employees are responsible for arranging and covering their transportation from home to Anchorage before company-provided travel to the remote work site.

Job Summary


Summary:  Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards, guidelines and regulations.  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
  • Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
  • Operates and cleans equipment after each use. Performs scheduled routine cleaning.
  • Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy. Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
  • Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
  • Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
  • Assists Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
  • Assists in the cross training of employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
