Naval Weapons Systems Program Manager, Senior
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your program management expertise and DoD acquisition experience to make an impact on national security? You've spent a career operating at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels advising senior leaders, coordinating across Combatant Commands, and translating complex defense requirements into executable plans and programs. You know how to synchronize varied stakeholders, manage risk, and produce the technical and programmatic products that keep high-priority defense programs on track. If this sounds like you, come join Booz Allen's team to support a critical Navy program.
As a Senior Program Manager supporting U.S. Navy weapons systems. You will provide program management leadership across the full acquisition lifecycle. You will advise senior government stakeholders on program strategy, schedule, and execution, develop and maintain program documentation, and coordinate across multiple DoD organizations, program offices, and industry partners to support acquisition planning and delivery objectives. You will help shape and sustain the capabilities that underpin fleet readiness.
You will draft and present technical briefings, program status reports, and white papers for both technical and senior non-technical audiences, manage task tracking and reporting requirements, support budget formulation and execution, and coordinate with government, military, and industry stakeholders to drive program outcomes. Your ability to operate effectively across organizational boundaries - from the acquisition office to the Combatant Command - makes you a trusted advisor and an integral part of delivering superior naval weapons systems capabilities.
Join us. The world can't wait.
You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in DoD program management, defense acquisition, or operational planning support at the operational or strategic level
  • Experience with assisting in advising senior military or government officials on program strategy, policy, schedule, or execution
  • Experience coordinating across multiple DoD organizations, program offices, Combatant Commands, or interagency partners on complex, multi-stakeholder programs
  • Experience developing and presenting program status reports, technical briefings, white papers, or CONOPS for senior-level audiences
  • Experience in supporting program management functions, including task tracking, budget formulation or execution, and program documentation
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and lifecycle management across the DoD 5000 framework
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting Navy weapons systems, missile programs, or munitions acquisition programs
  • Experience with capabilities-based assessments, Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) processes, or requirements development
  • Experience supporting STRATCOM, NORTHCOM, SOCOM, or other Combatant Command planning and operations
  • Experience supporting foreign military sales (FMS) or international defense advisory engagements
  • Experience with Rapid Equipping Force, OTA, or other non-traditional acquisition pathways
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in Business, National Security, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
