Job Summary
The Department of Radiology at UC Davis Health is seeking a highly skilled Musculoskeletal Imaging Radiologist to join our team as an ASC Physician Diplomat in a fully remote capacity. This role offers the opportunity to practice at a leading academic medical center while delivering high-quality, patient-centered imaging services across a diverse and complex clinical environment.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
  • Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of medicine in CA as determined by the CA Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
  • Hold current California Medical License.
  • CA Medical Board Eligible.
  • Meets the credentialing and privileging standards for UDCH medical staff.
  • Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of medicine in CA as determined by the CA Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
  • Expertise in all aspects of Musculoskeletal imaging including MR, CT, US, and image - guided procedures.
  • At the title code 0771 - Associate Physician, must be ABR board eligible.
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Skills to analyze needs, establishing priorities , and provide appropriate medical care and preventative medicine services in the Campus community.
  • Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
  • Computer and keyboarding skills to use Electronic Medical Records software program.
  • This position is a critical position and subject to a background check.
  • Meets the credentialing and privileging standards for UCDH medical staff.
  • Close Visual Acuity (e.g., viewing a computer screen; using measurement devices) - Constantly, Color Visual Acuity - constantly.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Possess a current DEA Certification.
  • Possess a current CPR Certification.
  • Fellowship training in Radiology.
  • Completion completed a residency program in Diagnostic Radiology at an accredited institution.
  • Clinical expertise in all aspects of Musculoskeletal imaging including MR, CT, US, and image-guided procedures.
  • Experience in and ability to teach and supervise medical students , residents and fellows.
  • Strong political and institutional acumen sufficient to accomplish needed action in a complex public research university environment.
  • Works at a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
  • Knowledge of University and campus policies and procedures preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills in large and small group settings.
