To thrive as a Part Time Remote Crime Analyst, you generally need a background in criminal justice, data analysis, and research, often supported by a relevant degree or coursework. Familiarity with crime mapping software, statistical analysis tools like Excel or SPSS, and law enforcement databases is typically required.
