Spero Health is seeking a Part-Time Counselor/Social Worker to join our West Virginia Virtual Team!

This position is for a licensed counselor or social worker who supports the mission of "Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships" in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment. The Counselor/Social Worker's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide counseling to patients through evidenced-based practice.
  • Provide patient education.
  • Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
  • Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.
  • Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPPA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations.

Requirements

LICENSED COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER:

  • Experience: Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling 
  • License: LPC or LISW

LICENSED COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH
