Job description

Job Summary Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation is accepting applications for various roles at the Westside Recreation Center. Westside Recreation Center openings: Lifeguards (available shifts: 4:45 to 10:30 a.m.; 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Lifeguard interim (40-hours per week with health benefits available) Front desk (available shifts: 8 a.m

to 1 p.m.; 1 to 6 p.m.; 5 to 9 p.m.; and weekends) Recreation assistants (guest experiences throughout facility): 4 to 9 p.m. and weekends Certified Fitness Instructors (land and/or water) Wage: Front Desk $16.31 Recreation Assistant: $16.31 Lifeguard $17.40 (part time) and $18.48 (Interim) Minimum Qualifications Desired applicants should be at least 15 years of age for Recreation Assistant and LIfeguards, and 18 for Front Desk and Maintenance. Applicants are eligible to work up to 28 hours per week and must be able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends

Applicants should demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Applicants must have reliable transportation.
