*This position is Part -Time, Non-exempt Hourly; Starting Range $17.00 - $18.41

This is a receptionist position which serves Water of Life Christian School (Preschool - Middle School) by assisting with visitors needs and responding to inquiries on the phone, via email and face-to-face; supplying information regarding the organization to the general public, church attendees, church members, clients and vendors. Ensures security by announcing all guests, receiving confirmation that vendors are scheduled to be on WOL property and providing visitor name badges to all guests/vendors.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, opening and setting up the front office; writing tardies and inputting in RenWeb; caring for sick students; supporting and promoting interest in WOLCS/WOLCC; providing support to Office Manager and WOLCS Preschool and K-8 Administration, as needed; coordinating substitutes; coordinating "safe person" information; recruiting and/or directing volunteers for WOLCS. 

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent with specialized course work in general office practices such as typing filing, accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' professional experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish languages preferred.
  • Candidate should have strong oral and written skills; strong attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of common office technology tools/software, Microsoft suite; MS Office;
  • Friendly, flexible, able to multitask, enjoys working with all kinds of people;
  • Aspire to be a Christian role model in accordance with 1 Timothy, chapter 3 
  • Maintain a consistent relationship with God, demonstrate a strong and growing walk with Christ and live a Biblical lifestyle that honors Christ
  • Be personally committed to the ideals, values and mission of WOL
