Job description

We are a busy 4 doctor private optometric practice in Arlington Heights looking for a part time receptionist.

Job responsibilities include:

*checking patients in (this includes verifying insurance and demographic information)

*checking patients out (this includes recording all charges and taking payments)

*verifying routine vision and medical insurance

*scheduling appointments

*answering the phone


The right person for this job should have the following characteristics:

*personable with our patients

*detail oriented

*comfortable with learning new computer software

*ability to multitask with ease

*is not afraid to think on their own to complete a given task


Anticipated Work Schedule: Mon 9-7; Tue 9-7; and Sat 8-1.

The close time can vary depending on when the last patient leaves.

Hours would be around 26-28 hours per week.
