MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to join our team working in Crane, IN. This is a part-time and hybrid position, averaging 20hrs per week, requiring onsite work as needed.
The Project Manager in this position will support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War (ODASW) Prototypes & Experiments (P&E) Joint Maritime Next Capabilities Office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead development efforts, coordinate test events, and guide strategic technical and programmatic decisions.
  • Interface frequently with both government and industry partners to align project goals and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Develop program metrics, budgets, and schedules while coordinating the efforts of multiple task activities.
  • Oversee the daily operations of complex technical projects to ensure successful mission execution.
  • Manage strategic relationships with commercial vendors and sub-teaming partners.
  • Travel up to 25% both CONUS and OCONUS to support program milestones and operational requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Management
  • 5+ years of direct work experience in support of DoD expeditionary developmental projects
  • Must possess a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DoD procurement policies

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experienced working with OUSW, USSOCOM, and NSWC Crane
  • Project management experience to include programmatic support, acquisition planning, and budget planning

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current or active Secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
