The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to support Department of Defense (DoD) programs and post-award contracts with the Space Force? Are you adept at DoD acquisitions, contract strategies, and successfully meeting major program milestones? As a DoD Acquisition Management Professional, you'll work closely with our DoD clients and stakeholders in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of capability to meet mission objectives, ensuring our client's mission is our mission. We're looking for someone like you to lead a team of experts and be a liaison to the Government client.
This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on our country's defense acquisition and contracts strategy. As a DoD Acquisition Management Professional, you'll be the program's key focal point in D.C, develop acquisition strategies including work on middle-tier acquisitions and other contracts, manage stakeholder relationships, and usher the program through major milestones including transitioning to operations. You'll develop stakeholder engagement strategies, procurement request packages, and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You'll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project's success. Are you ready to deliver the capability that defends our nation?

You Have:
  • 12+ years of experience with DoD acquisition systems, life cycle planning, program management, leadership, and business operations
  • 5+ years of experience managing strategic stakeholder relationships including operations, PAE, SAE, and D.C. staff
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical program baselines
  • Experience with acquisition support to DoD key program milestones and decision events
  • Experience with Project and Program Execution, including life cycle sustainment
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies and processes
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with the development and execution of DoD acquisition strategies
  • Experience with SATCOM and Nuclear Command Control and Communication stakeholders and mission areas
  • Experience with Space Force systems and organizations
  • Experience with Adaptive Acquisition Framework, including Middle Tier and Software Acquisition Pathways
  • Ability to contribute to cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent teaming and leadership skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
