Job description

Printpack Bloomington is hiring for part-time production assistants.
This position is responsible for assisting machine operators with tasks such as packing product and housekeeping. This role requires flexibility to be assigned multiple tasks and the ability to work at fast pace.
This position is for day shift hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday. Part-time associates are eligible to be scheduled between 16 and 28 hours per week.
Pay for this position is $18.50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and stages materials for bag machine operations

  • Conducts routine safety inspections of equipment and work areas

  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of work environment

  • Monitors product quality and performs quality checks

  • Executes rework operations as needed to meet quality standards

  • Supports production team members in various capacities

  • Maintains compliance with safety protocols and procedures

Education & Experience:
  • Demonstrated stable work history

Required Skills:
  • Ability to accurately read and use measuring tools

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Must pass pre-employment assessments

  • Drug screening required

  • Background check required

Physical Demands:
  • Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
