In a Part Time Prior Authorization role, your daily duties generally include reviewing medical documentation, verifying insurance coverage, submitting authorization requests for procedures or medications, and following up with insurance companies for approvals. You’ll frequently interact with healthcare providers, office staff, and sometimes patients to gather necessary information or clarify details. Accurate record-keeping and timely communication are central to ensuring patients receive required treatments without unnecessary delays.
