Job description

Join our team as a Medical Transport Driver and play a vital role in ensuring safe and timely transportation services. As a Medical Transport Driver, you will be responsible for driving multi-passenger vehicles, to transport passengers to their destinations. Work part-time, Monday-Friday, 11 AM-4:30 PM and earn $17/hr.


Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Transport residents and clients, assisting in and out of vehicles and operating lifts
- Accurately follow and maintain the transport schedule
- Provide transit services for individuals with medical or special needs
- Maintain vehicles in good working condition through regular inspections and upkeep
- Communicate effectively with passengers to ensure a pleasant transportation experience


Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, required
- Prior experience in shuttle driving or similar roles, required
- High School diploma or equivalent, required
- Familiarity with paratransit services is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary

- Completion of a pre-employment criminal record check, physical assessment and conditional offer drug screen, required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers effectively
