About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part-time at Natomas School of Music, our Natomas, Sacramento, CA location. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON! The ability to teach additional instruments is a plus.
Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. Weekend availability (Fridays and Saturdays) are required to be considered.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $27-29/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 30 days on the job. Health benefits options are available to all part- and full-time employees.

Ensemble Schools is a collaborative network of community-driven Music & Dance schools. While each school maintains its unique identity, they share resources to ensure collective success. This posting is for the Natomas School of Music, in the Natomas area of Sacramento, California. Since 2006, Natomas School of Music has helped thousands of students begin and continue on their musical journeys. We are the largest private school of music in Natomas, offering individual lessons in all popular instruments, as well as voice. Our staff consists of experienced music teachers, capable of teaching all ages and levels. We constantly renovate and improve our facilities as well as provide ongoing support to our teachers to ensure we are always providing our students and parents with the best possible musical experience. We teach piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, cello, voice, violin, viola, brass, woodwind, drum & percussion lessons, as well as a handful of other instruments.
