Job Area: Piano
Job Title: Staff Collaborative Pianist
Rank: Part-time Staff
Part-time position(s) available beginning August 2024. Primary duties include accompanying student lessons, juries, and public performances; coaching students as appropriate during rehearsals; and potentially collaborating with faculty and student composers on performances of original compositions.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music; or equivalent professional experience as collaborative pianist.
Preferred qualifications: Experience accompanying a variety of instruments and voices. Proficiency and sensitivity in working with different styles and periods of music. Knowledge of the standard repertoire as well as ability to perform in genres outside the primary culture. Ability to learn music quickly. Excellent sight-reading skills.
Start Date: August 21, 2024
