Research Scientists (PhD)
Design and conduct experimental research and investigations to explore and support scientific discovery and/or development. Record, interpret, and analyze study data. Develop research documentation, such as protocols, reports, reviews, publications, manuscripts, and/or summaries. Disseminate research findings to internal and external audiences. Ensure the quality standards and scientific integrity in research activities are maintained. Remain knowledgeable of relevant scientific and technical developments.

Research Scientist, IV
Design and conduct experimental research and investigations to explore and support scientific discovery and/or development. Record, interpret, and analyze study data. Develop research documentation, such as protocols, reports, reviews, publications, manuscripts, and/or summaries. Disseminate research findings to internal and external audiences. Ensure the quality standards and scientific integrity in research activities are maintained. Remain knowledgeable of relevant scientific and technical developments. Contributes innovative solutions that advance the organization's strategy and extend knowledge in a given field.
Requires a PhD in a scientific discipline and 8+ years of directly related work experience.
This is an Advanced-Level position in the General Professional track.

Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
