Job description

Part Time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

We are hiring for a parttime Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a Pediatrician Independently owned Pediatrician office located in Newark, NJ.

Part Time Schedule is 2 days a week

Any 2 days during the week. Thursdays. Tuesdays or Fridays 9-5 pm

Salary:

$75-$85 per hour depending on experience.

Patient Volume:

30+ patients a day with the help of a RN and MA.

About the Practice:

The Pediatrician office is committed to providing exceptional healthcare to children in our community. We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team and contribute to the health and wellness of our pediatric patients.

You will work with other Nurse Practitioners and Pediatricians on staff. The patients are mainly Medicaid patients.

The EMR system is Office Practicum.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform comprehensive assessments and health screenings for pediatric patients
  2. Diagnose and manage a range of common pediatric conditions
  3. Educate parents on treatment options and preventive care
  4. Collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare providers
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions in our EMR system

NJ APRN License

PNP or FNP Board Certification

MSN Degree in Nurse Practitioner

It is a plus if you speak Spanish or Portuguese.
