Job description

INTERMOUNTAIN FARMERS ASSOCIATION (IFA) is a regional farm supply co-op with diverse operations including feed production, agronomy services, and retail stores throughout the intermountain west. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of OFFICE CLERK (Part-Time) at the Draper Feed Mill in Draper, Utah.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer and transfer phone calls, take messages, page
  • Weigh trucks
  • Record receivings, transfers, invoices
  • Learn how to do a receiving, make a transfer, invoice customers
  • Learn our manufacturing process
  • Keep records on manufacturing
  • Check off general ledgers
  • Learn how to print a formula and check it for ingredients and pricing

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be available to work 12:00pm-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience with animal agriculture is desirable. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects on any given day. Proficiency and accuracy with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn company software applications. Experience with SAP is a plus. Basic math skills used in price calculations, measurement conversions and percentages. Dependable team player willing to embrace the vision and mission of Intermountain Farmers Association and work and communicate well with co-workers and supervisors.
