  • Problem Solving: Resolve passenger inquiries and coordinate directly with Zion National Park staff to handle real-time service adjustments.
  • Safety & Compliance: Monitor route schedules, track local weather/road conditions, and ensure our high safety standards are consistently met.

  • Licensing: Must possess a valid Utah Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and Air Brake endorsements.
  • Age & Driving Record: Must be at least 25 years of age with an excellent driving record.
  • Compliance: Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical and drug/alcohol screening.
  • Skills: Excellent radio communication skills, strong organization for paperwork, and a professional, cooperative attitude with both staff and park visitors.
  • Physical Demands & Environmental Factors
  • This position requires a mix of sedentary dispatch work and active field supervision (frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting light loads).
  • Work will involve regular exposure to Zion's outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity), traffic hazards, and loud noises.
