Are you ready to take the next step in your career and lead from the front ? Parks Transportation, Inc. has an immediate opening for one (1) Seasonal Operations Supervisor to join our leadership team for the remainder of the current season.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, high-performing driver to transition into a leadership role right now, helping to guide our daily operations, support fellow operators, and ensure our visitors have a safe and memorable experience in Zion National Park and Springdale.

Key Responsibilities
As an Operations Supervisor, you will work closely with the Operations Manager and the General Manager to keep our transit system running smoothly. Your duties will include:
  • Peer Leadership: Act as a direct resource, mentor, and supervisor for bus operators on routes.
  • Operational Control: Manage dispatch duties, coordinate daily paperwork, compile shift reports, and help assign work schedules.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve passenger inquiries and coordinate directly with Zion National Park staff to handle real-time service adjustments.
  • Safety & Compliance: Monitor route schedules, track local weather/road conditions, and ensure our high safety standards are consistently met.
Internal Eligibility & Requirements
Because this is an active mid-season transition that requires immediate operational familiarity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • PTI Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 full seasons of driving experience with Parks Transportation, Inc. (PTI).
  • Driver Training (Preferred): Active or past experience as an experienced PTI Cadet Trainer is highly preferred.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid Utah Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and Air Brake endorsements.
  • Age & Driving Record: Must be at least 25 years of age with an excellent driving record.
  • Compliance: Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical and drug/alcohol screening.
  • Skills: Excellent radio communication skills, strong organization for paperwork, and a professional, cooperative attitude with both staff and park visitors.
  • Physical Demands & Environmental Factors
  • This position requires a mix of sedentary dispatch work and active field supervision (frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting light loads).
  • Work will involve regular exposure to Zion's outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity), traffic hazards, and loud noises.
