Job description

Nirvana Healthcare Management Services is looking for a part-time Audit Agent to help support our back-office team. This is a great opportunity for a high school or college student who is organized, responsible, and interested in gaining office or healthcare experience.

Job Summary:

The Audit Agent will help review audit lists, make calls, schedule appointments, and keep information organized. This role is important because it helps make sure patients are scheduled correctly and office tasks are completed on time.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review assigned audit lists.
  • Call patients to schedule appointments.
  • Update notes and information in the system.
  • Keep track of completed tasks.
  • Communicate with office staff when needed.
  • Follow patient privacy and confidentiality rules.
  • Help with other back-office tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, currently in high school, or currently in college.
  • No healthcare experience required; we are willing to train.
  • Must be reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions.
  • Comfortable using a computer.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Bilingual is a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to keep patient information confidential (Hipaa).

Schedule:

  • Saturday availability is required

Work Environment:

This is an office-based position in a professional medical office setting. The role involves sitting at a desk, using a computer, making phone calls, and working with a team.
