Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.ย 


Seeking a dependable caregiver to provide assistance to a young woman with daily living activities. Responsibilities include transportation to laundromat and other outings, assist in tidying up her home, and encouraging personal hygiene routines. Ideal candidate is compassionate, respectful, and attentive.ย 


By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $16.00 hourly.


Schedule: Flexible 4 hrs. a week

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:

  • Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activitiesย 
  • Assisting with personal hygiene tasksย 
  • Meal preparation and light cleaningย 
  • Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environmentย 
  • Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointmentsย 
  • Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
  • Complete daily progress notes


Qualifications and Skills

  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screeningย 
  • Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.ย 
  • Provide a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Are 18 years of age or olderย
