Job description

About The Role:
We're looking for a contract paid social media buyer to manage the day-to-day execution, optimization, and reporting of our paid social marketing channels, primarily Meta (this is a temporary maternity leave coverage role). The ideal candidate has a proven track record of executing Meta campaigns end-to-end, monitoring and scaling paid campaigns, and turning performance data into actionable growth opportunities. This role reports to the Director of Growth and works cross functionally across the organization with creative, influencer, analytics, and brand.
This is a temporary, part-time position providing coverage for a 4-month leave. The assignment is expected to run from mid-September 2026 through mid-January 2027. The schedule is approximately 24 hours per week, with the potential for additional or fewer hours depending on weekend coverage needs and business demands.
Responsibilities
  • Launch, manage, analyze, and scale paid social media campaigns across platforms including Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest. Ensure flawless execution of paid social naming conventions, tracking tags, audience targeting, and geo-lift setup.
  • Conduct daily pacing and performance checks to ensure budgets are scaling toward monthly targets and hitting efficiency KPIs.
  • Analyze campaign data and reporting metrics including CTR, ROAS, CVR, and AOV to identify optimization opportunities and provide insightful recommendations.
  • Support internal weekly and monthly performance shareouts for the broader team, focusing on data-led insights and actionable solutions.
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis utilizing internal tools such as: Excel, Sheets, Northbeam, and PowerBI.
  • Analyze paid creative performance on an ongoing basis, synthesizing insights and sharing actionable recommendations with broader teams and leadership.
  • Support in briefing image/video assets grounded in performance insights to the creative team to ensure a diverse stream of ad content.
  • Ideate & brainstorm new creative ideas for team brainstorms & planning sessions, support overall creative planning process.

Requirements
  • 4-5 years of experience in Paid Social execution specifically across Meta, TikTok, and
  • Pinterest
  • Experience managing high volume Meta budgets of $1M+ per month
  • Proven ability managing and efficiently optimizing monthly budgets
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with large data sets, optimizing for KPIs, and
  • turning analysis into action. Advanced Excel skills, proficiency with Northbeam
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal & presentation) skills

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $50.00-$60.00 per hour. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a few factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
