Part-Time Radio & Digital Media Internship - NYS Broadcasters

The Opportunity:
Townsquare Media is excited to offer an educational internship program designed to give students hands-on exposure to the radio broadcasting and digital media industry.
As an intern, you'll gain real-world experience by observing and participating in the day-to-day operations of our radio stations and digital platforms, providing a behind-the-scenes look at how a modern media company operates across broadcast, digital marketing, promotions, and sales. You'll gain insight into how broadcast and digital media work together to support local businesses, engage audiences, and create impactful marketing campaigns while learning from experienced professionals across multiple departments and seeing firsthand how our teams collaborate to deliver results for clients and communities.
Our goal is to help students build practical skills, develop industry knowledge, and make meaningful professional connections that will serve as a strong foundation for a future career in media, marketing, or communications.

As a Townsquare Media intern, you will have the opportunity to:

This internship is intended to provide hands-on exposure and educational experience, giving students a clearer understanding of career paths within the media and marketing industries.
What You'll Bring to the Program:
We're looking for students who are curious, motivated, and excited to learn about the evolving media landscape.
Ideal candidates will have:

  • Compensation is $16/ hour
  • Typically 10-20 hours per week
  • Specific schedules will be agreed upon in advance to accommodate academic commitments
