If you’re energized by smart strategy, great people, and real opportunities for growth, we’d love to meet you!

The Role:

Indie Consulting is seeking an experienced and data-driven Retail Media Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across Retail Media Networks (RMNs) including Roundel, Walmart Connect, Instacart, DoorDash, Thrive, Sprouts, and GoPuff.

This role owns full-funnel retail media activations — driving visibility, conversion, and ROAS across e-commerce and retailer-owned platforms. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on platform expertise and excels at translating performance data into actionable insights for client and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Planning Execution

  • DoorDash, and other RMNs
  • Translate brand and sales objectives into platform-specific campaign strategies that drive awareness, product visibility, and ROAS
  • Manage campaign segmentation, product targeting, bidding, and budget pacing across multiple retail media environments
  • Partner with creative and sales teams to align product listings, retailer assets, and campaign messaging with platform best practices
  • Oversee flawless execution across campaigns and SKUs, adhering to brand, retailer, and compliance standards

Optimization Reporting

  • Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns for key performance metrics, such as ROAS and CPA
  • Develop reports to communicate performance, insights, and opportunities
  • Identify and test opportunities to maximize retail media efficiency
  • Analyze performance and inform future media planning

Cross-Functional Collaboration Communication

  • Partner with eCommerce teams to align campaigns with broader marketing priorities and initiatives
  • Clearly communicate campaign performance, trends, and learnings to internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Maintain strong organization across campaign documentation, timelines, and reporting
  • Serve as a proactive problem-solver, anticipating challenges and identifying solutions early in campaign cycles
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience managing retail media campaigns across Walmart Connect, Roundel, Instacart, DoorDash, or similar RMNs
  • Demonstrated success driving incremental sales and ROAS through retailer advertising platforms
  • Hands-on experience developing and reporting on metrics and KPIs tied to business goals
  • Proven ability to lead reporting discussions and present insights clearly to key stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through across multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences
  • Comfortable managing a defined scope independently within a part-time, embedded capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
