Description:

Seven Seas Water Group is seeking a motivated and curious Research Intern to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will support our Marketing and Business Development departments by conducting market research and customer analysis. Your findings will help shape how we identify new opportunities and better understand the needs of water utility and industrial customers across our operating regions. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, mission-driven company in the water infrastructure sector.

Requirements:


• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities in the water utility and infrastructure sectors.

• Perform customer research including analysis of existing customer data and outreach to prospective customers via phone and email.

• Verify and update customer contact information using provided lists and web-based research tools.

• Log and organize research findings and customer data in Excel, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

• Collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development teams to synthesize insights and present actionable recommendations.

• Support ad hoc research and data management tasks as needed.

• This is an in-person role; the employee must reliably commute to and perform work in office.


Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Communications, Engineering and/or environmental engineering, or a related field.

• Strong research skills with the ability to gather, synthesize, and present information clearly.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Interest in water infrastructure, utilities, or environmental services is a plus.

• Located in the Greater Tampa or Houston area.

Tampa, FL or Houston, TX (in-person, office-based)


Timing

• Start Date: June 2025

• End Date: August 2025

• 3-5 days per week (schedule to be confirmed upon hire)

• 4–8 hours per day depending on student’s schedule


Compensation

Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
