tl;dr

We're hiring our first GM of Market Research at Terac. You will own the entire market research vertical from first customer conversation to closed deal to live project delivery. You'll help build the playbook, hire the team, and define how Terac wins in a massive, legacy-ridden market. You will work directly with our CEO to take Terac's wedge in the industry and scale it. Ideally, you are a strategic operator with industry experience who is pumped to bet on a career-defining role at a fast-growing, early-stage startup.

You will:
  • Own the full market research sales cycle from prospecting and qualifying leads, to running discovery, to closing deals and activating happy customers

  • Be the face of Terac to our market research customers

  • Build and manage the post-sales market research team: hiring project managers, research consultants, and panel operations specialists as volume grows

  • Hire your team. Train your team. Set the bar impossibly high and help everyone clear it.

You have/are:
  • Deep domain expertise in market research, consumer insights, or a closely adjacent space

  • Proven ability to sell and close complex deals with enterprise customers

  • Experience building and managing a services or delivery team. You know how to hire, onboard, and hold people accountable

  • Exceptional communication skills
