Overview

Are you seeking an exciting and rewarding career that allows you the opportunity to work a flexible schedule?  If so, we invite you to consider joining our IST Management Services team as a Part-Time/On-call Mail Center Associate team member.  The ideal candidates must have a strong passion to serve others and be detailed oriented & process driven with a background & focus in customer service.  The duties will consist of performing various mail center related tasks, shipping & receiving services, document printing, hospitality, conference room services, and front desk reception services within a corporate working environment.  This role will support our office locations in the Houston, Kingwood, and The Woodlands areas.  

IST Management Services is the fastest growing, national facilities management company in the industry.  IST Management is a BPO Company (Business Process Outsourcing) specializing in providing solutions for the management of physical and digital information through Facilities Management, eDiscovery, and Electronic Document Management services.

Hourly Compensation: $14.00 - $14.00 USD per hr (DOE)

Work Schedule: On-Call (Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm)  Schedule will vary based on an "as needed" basis

Location: This position will support our locations in Houston, Kingwood, and The Woodlands areas

Responsibilities

The Part-Time/On-call Mail Center Associate team member will perform mail center related tasks, shipping & receiving services, document printing, hospitality, conference room services, and front desk reception services.  Additional responsibilities include:

  • Mail Operations - Sort & deliver incoming mail according to established procedures
  • Shipping/Receiving Services - Receive & scan in/out overnight packages
  • Reception coverages as needed - smiling and greeting clients & visitors, answering phones and directing calls to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • Setup conference rooms for meetings, maintain site common areas, including kitchen/break-rooms to ensure areas are cleaned (ie - unload/load dishwasher, setup water and coffee for meetings, etc)
  • Adhere to safety, security and business procedure guidelines
  • Provide support on an "as needed basis" to assigned locations in Houston, Kingwood, and The Woodlands areas and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
Qualifications

The qualifications of the Part-Time/On-call Mail Center Associate team member must have a strong passion to serve others and be detailed oriented and process driven with a background & focus in customer service.  Additional qualifications include:

  • Valid Driver's License required
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Prior mail or shipping/receiving experience is a plus 
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs with aid
