IT Support Specialist (Onsite, Part-Time)

Worcester, MA Area | 30 Hours/Week | $30–$38/hour
A mission-driven K–8 school is seeking a Technology Operations & Support Specialist to serve as the primary onsite IT resource. This highly visible role supports ~200 students and 75+ faculty/staff in a Mac-based, Google Workspace environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for technical issues
  • Provide hands-on, in-person support to staff and students
  • Configure and maintain Mac devices and classroom technology
  • Support AV equipment, printers, and instructional tools
  • Manage tickets and track recurring issues
  • Coordinate device lifecycle and inventory
  • Support Google Workspace users and daily operations
  • Liaise with external IT vendors for escalations
  • Assist with device rollout and seasonal IT initiatives
Qualifications:
  • 2–4 years of IT support or help desk experience
  • Strong macOS support experience required
  • Experience with Google Workspace
