accessAbilities, a local Home care agency, is immediately hiring Caregivers (known as IDD Attendants) to assist individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in North Huntingdon, PA.

Companion Services

Employees provide services to participants living in private homes focusing solely on the health and safety of the participant.

IDD attendants might help a participant with:

  • Cooking
  • Cleaning
  • Home chores

  • Watching a favorite show
  • Providing companionship

In Home and Community Supports

Employees provide services to help people gain, maintain, and improve skills that allow them to live and participate in their local community.

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to lift or transfer up to 100 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

  • Previous experience as a Direct Care Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide or Direct Support Professional
  • Prior experience with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
