JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park invites applications for one part-time learning assistant to start in Fall 2026. The successful candidates will assist Dr. Rashmi Sharma for up to 10 hours per week during the academic semester.
Job Duties:
  • Answering student questions

  • Hosting office hours

  • Grading assignments

  • Searching the business press for teaching materials

  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of MIS 437 at Penn State

  • Currently enrolled Penn State student

Compensation:
Starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
