As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sushi dishes, while maintaining strict standards of hygiene, food safety, and quality, and ensuring guest satisfaction through your dynamic and courteous service.

Essential Job Functions

  • Prepare sushi ingredients and dishes according to Kobe standards
  • Set up, maintain, and break down the sushi bar and prep area
  • Interact with guests, take special requests, and accommodate dietary needs
  • Deliver sushi orders and ensure an exceptional guest experience
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and assist with inventory
  • Working effectively with the other kitchen staff and front-of-house teams

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position and/or move about the workspace for extended periods.
