Schedule: Varied - approximately 15-25 hours/week (Monday-Friday)
Minimum Hourly Salary: $32.71
PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position is responsible for conducting thorough and impartial investigations related to personnel and student issues within the Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 (IU13). This role involves gathering facts, interviewing involved parties, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with school policies, local, state, and federal regulations. This role is essential for maintaining a safe and respectful environment for students and staff, ensuring that all concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in education, Human Resources, Law, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred. Experience in conducting investigations required, preferably in an educational setting.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and school policies. Excellent report-writing skills.
Other Requirements:
Excellent communication and interviewing skills, ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
Valid PA Driver's License and current auto insurance.
