Job description


Civil Litigation firm is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant with experience in civil litigation to undertake a variety of administrative tasks for our attorneys. Work hours are flexible and can be negotiated.
  
Responsibilities

•        Preparing pleadings and other legal documents via digital dictation
•        E-filing pleadings in the Wisconsin and Federal Courts
•        Process daily e-filings that come in from the Courts
•        Answer Phone calls
•        Track deadlines and/or task due dates
•        File management - including filing and case file set-up
•        Assist with accounting and client billing matters
•        Assist with medical record requests and collection and organization
  
Skills

•        Experience as legal assistant in civil litigation, preferred
•        Knowledge of legal terminology, Court, State and Federal and E-filing systems
•        Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and the ability to work with legal technology (court-filing computer systems, transcription software, other office equipment)
•        Excellent time-management and typing skills
•        Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
•        Be a self-starter
•        Work well with limited supervision
